What is EndNote?

EndNote is citation management software you can use to:

  • Organize your research (citations, full-text articles, images, notes)
  • Automatically generate in-text citations and bibliography as you write
  • Share Endnote libraries with 100 collaborators

Endnote download button Click here to download EndNote. Login with your UT Netid and password and select home or office use. Choose EndNote Clarivate Analytics on the OIT software distribution list!.

To avoid being asked for a product key during installation on Windows computers, follow the OIT download instructions to extract the EndNote files or see Endnote 20 Basics tutorials
Mac users should not store EndNote libraries on locations backed up by iCloud, which can corrupt them over time. The Applications folder is a safe place to store them.
