Register for a class by emailing endnote@utk.edu. Instructions will be mailed about downloading Endnote X8 on your computer before the class. Library computers are also available during the class.

What is EndNote?

EndNote is citation management software you can use to:

  • Organize your research (citations, full-text articles, images, notes)
  • Automatically generate in-text citations and bibliography as you write
  • Share Endnote libraries with 100 collaborators

Current version for Mac: Endnote X8 for Mac.  The Endnote X7.7 update now allows you to use Endnote with  version 15.22 or later of Word 2016. Endnote X7 does not work with the Sierra operating system.

      
Current version for PC: EndNote X8 for Windows.
