For many problems, make sure you are using the latest version of Flash

Google Chrome Issues

Google Chrome may have trouble playing Flash based videos from the Library.  If you are seeing an error message "Error loading player:  No playable sources found" this is most likely the problem.   It is recommend if you get this error message to use another browser like Firefox.  Also, always make sure that you are using the latest version of Flash

You can go to your advanced settings and see how Chrome is set up to allow Flash but the fix is not always straight forward.

One thing to check for Chrome, is to

  • Open Chrome's Preferences and get to Settings
  • In Settings open "Advanced Settings"
  • In "Privacy and Security" open "Content Settings"
  • In "Content Settings" open your Flash settings
  • You want the setting to be "Allow sites to run Flash"
  • You might then want to restart Chrome and see if this has fixed the access problem
