The date of your board exam matters. Please read and plan accordingly:
If the exam date is within 6 months after leaving UT:
If the exam date is more than 6 months after leaving UT:
Background: the University Libraries negotiate with publishers to allow everyone access for 6 months past leaving UTK. UT Libraries continue negotiating for this access on behalf of the UT community, it is part of the value UT Librarians add to the electronic access licensing process.
It is not within the libraries' budget to offer access past the 6 months post-graduation/leaving UT at this time. The University Libraries can't afford what publishers would charge. We know this because we value access and have asked for quotes to provide it.
The University Libraries support open science, open publishing, and open educational resources, and partner with students, faculty, and administration to reduce barriers to public access to research and educational materials. People and departments primarily involved with this work are subject librarians and the Scholars' Collaborative.
