University of Tennessee alumni Clarence Brown was a prolific
Hollywood producer and director, working with stars such as Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Gregory Peck, and more. Over the course of his career, Brown won 8 Oscars and was nominated 8 times for the Academy Award for Best Director. This collection includes scripts, photographs, awards, scrapbooks, and other memorabilia.

Quentin Tarantino, 1963- (Quentin Tarantino Original Screenplays Collection, MS.3717)

Quentin Tarantino is a screenwriter and director. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and spent his childhood there and in California. Tarantino will often make small references to East Tennessee in his films. This collection includes original screenplays of the films From Dusk Till Dawn (1991) and Jackie Brown (1996).
