Sarah McCarter

As the Student Success Librarian for Professional Literacies, Sarah helps students, staff, and faculty navigate library resources and develop search strategies both in person and online. She acts as the subject librarian to the Haslam College of Business providing curricular support for information literacy, immersive spaces, and career preparedness. Sarah works as part of a cross-departmental team of librarians to help students develop strong communication and professional skills to prepare them to be successful in their educational and professional careers. In this role, Sarah provides one-on-one and group consultations through research assistance or instructions sessions.

Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in english from Carson Newman University, a master's in information sciences and a master's in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
