  • Congressional Budget Office
    Since 1975, CBO has produced independent analyses of budgetary and economic issues to support the Congressional budget process. Each year, the agency’s economists and budget analysts produce dozens of reports and hundreds of cost estimates for proposed legislation.
  • Economic Data & Analysis - The Conference Board
    The Conference Board operates as a global independent membership organization working in the public interest. It publishes economic and management information and analysis and makes economics-based forecasts. 
  • Economic Policy Institute
    EPI is a is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank "that seeks to broaden the public debate about strategies to achieve a prosperous and fair economy". Their web site features analyses, briefings, data and reports on economic issues such as minimum wage, trade policies, employment trends, etc.
  • Economic Report of the President
    An annual review of the nation's economic condition, prepared by the Council of Economic Advisors, with summaries of current federal policy and projections for future strategy.
  • The Federal Reserve's Beige Book
    Commentary on the U.S. economy with information on current conditions in each of the 12 Federal Reserve districts. Comment is drawn from a variety of business contacts and economic segments such as consumer spending, wages and employment, banking and finance, manufacturing, construction, etc. are discussed. 
  • National Bureau of Economic Research
    The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is a private, nonprofit organization that facilitates cutting-edge research on and analysis of major economic issues.
  • Pew Research Center - Economy & Work
    Look through short reads and analyzed reports on research topics like economic conditions, global trade, and business & the workplace.
  • VoxEU
    A policy portal set up by the European Union's Centre for Economic Policy Research in conjunction with a consortium of national sites, Vox aims to promote research-based economic policy analysis and commentary by leading scholars.
