Item Delivery for Distance Education Students
The University Libraries provide document delivery services to remote UTK students. To qualify for distance education services, you must live 40 or more miles from Knoxville. Students must be currently enrolled to access online resources and to use library services. Students enrolled only in independent study classes are not eligible for library services. Directions for setting up item delivery can be found via the Information for Distance Education Students section of the Libraries' website (link opens in a new tab).
Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center
Visit the Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center for free and individualized help throughout the writing process. For Fall 2021, students will need to setup an appointment via the Writing Center website for a 30 minute or 60 minute appointments. Appointments can be scheduled for in-person, online via Zoom, or via email. Writing Center tutors will be available in Pendergrass Library, Study Room B, on Mondays and Thursdays from 2-4.
