In April 2021, the University of Tennessee's Critical Race Collective (CRC) Community of Scholars, an interdisciplinary group of faculty who apply critical race theory to research, teaching, and activism, hosted the second Critical Race Symposium with the theme: THE IMPACT OF SYSTEMIC RACISM AND COVID-19 IN HIGHER EDUCATION. The symposium was a virtual two-day event on the application of critical race theory to research, teaching, and scholar-activism.
