Knoxville College students may borrow books from the UTK Libraries, access Libraries' databases from inside Hodges Library, and use a number of resources remotely. These pages will show you how!

 

Visiting the University of Tennessee Libraries

You may borrow UT Libraries’ books and use electronic resources inside the Hodges Library building.

Hodges Library is located at 1015 Volunteer Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37996 with entrances on the Ground and 2nd floors. The Public Services Desk is located on the 2nd floor.

The UTK Libraries has more than three million volumes. Search for books using OneSearch.

Access UTK Libraries electronic resources inside Hodges Library.

  • Use your own mobile device on UT's Wireless network. Connect to UT-open under "available wireless networks."
  • Request a temporary UTK NetID to gain access to library computers. Just show your student ID at the Public Services Desk on the 2nd floor of Hodges Library.

The UTK Libraries offers thousands of online books, journals, and articles including peer-reviewed publications, newspapers, magazines, conference proceedings, and image collections.

Access electronic resources remotely.

The Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) is a virtual library that you can access from your home computer or mobile device. Access over 400,000 electronic resources including magazines, scholarly journals, podcasts, videos, e-books, test preparation materials and more.
