Q&A with Lisa Morton
  • Lisa Morton, whose accolades include being an expert on all things spooky and Halloween, an award-winning author, former President of the Horror Writers Association, and creator of the Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley Scholarship, will take part in a Q&A with our community!
  • Date and Time: Monday October 18 at 6pm EST
  • The event will be livestreamed and you can access it on YouTube

Special Collections Exhibit
  • As a complement to the Women in Horror program, the Betsey B. Creekmore Special Collections and University Archives is hosting a small exhibit on "Monstrous Women" in their classroom space! It'll include materials from UTK's own collection, including artifacts about The Bell Witch and pulp magazine featuring women horror writers and artists. Interested viewers can see the exhibit Monday through friday from 9-5 or before the film screenings.

    • October 7th, 14th, and 28th from 6pm-7pm
    • October 20th from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm
Women in Horror Exhibition
  • This one depends on you! We'll be displaying accepted submissions in the library galleria before film screenings, and for special projects (e.g., any submitted short films, music, research presentations, etc.) we'll work out a special approach to display your submission.
