Visible Body

A comprehensive 3D atlas of the human body. Includes 3D models of anatomical structures and systems, physiology animations, pathology visualizations, illustrations, cadaver images paired with CTI or MRI scans, definitions, pronunciations and more!

About Visible Body

Visible Body provides 3D models, illustrations, animations, and other study tools to help students learn and understand Human Anatomy. With Visible Body, students have the ability to rotate models to different views, to add and remove anatomical structures, and to view detailed information about the functionality of these structures.

These models provide students with a better understanding of the spatial relationships between different organs and structures in the body, as well as give students a better idea of how structures function within the body and interact with each other.

System Requirements

Google Chrome is the preferred browser for running Visible Body. Firefox and Safari are also supported but may be more subject to issues loading the program. Specific ram and video card requirements for each Visible Body app are listed on the page dedicated to that app.

Available Apps

UT students currently have access to three Visible Body apps for studying human anatomy on PC and Mac.
