HitFilm Express is a multi-track video editor great for a wide range of projects. The software has a range of purchase options including downloading a free version. HitFilm Express will run on mac or windows and export to a range of pre-set, popular file types.
iMovie is a very popular and free video editor by Apple. While primarily single track editing, you can add titles, photos, and work wtih green screen as well as add audio tracks such as narration. This software is commonly used for many class projects.
GreenScreen is an inexpensive ($4.99) app for iOS. It allows you to take green screen video or photos that are saved to your camera roll. Don't have a green screen? This app has an eye dropper function to just record in front of any solid colored wall.
Canva is an online design tool. It features drag and drop designing and is loaded with both free and inexpensive content ranging from design elements to photos to templates and layouts. Projects can be shared, enabling group work, and completed design can be downloaded in popular formats such as PDF and PNG.
