Databases for articles

Library & Information Science Source - full text and indexing for hundreds of high-quality journals, as well as books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage encompasses librarianship, library history, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. 

Library Literature & Information Science Retrospective - H.W. Wilson - (1905-1983) - indexes nearly 80 years of citations from 1,500 periodicals, more than 500,000 articles, book reviews, books, book chapters and library school theses. Multilingual coverage, with translated titles and English language summaries covering the advances, controversies, and people instrumental in the making of modern librarianship. 


LISA: Library and Information Science Abstracts - indexes abstracts from 400+ periodicals from multiple countries and in 20 languages. Abstracts back to 1969. No full-text within database, but use the Find Text button for other full-text options.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) - LISTA indexes more than 560 core journals, nearly 50 priority journals, and 125 selective journals; plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s. It is EBSCO Publishing’s intention to provide access to LISTA on a continual basis at www.libraryresearch.com.
