  • All titles allow multi-user access.
  • Printing is restricted to 20% of each title.
  • Copying is restricted to 5% of each title.

Downloading EBL e-Books

EBL e-books can be downloaded onto personal computers using Adobe Digital Editions. They can also be transferred to any ebook reader that is compatible with Adobe Digital Editions (see supported devices).

E-books can also be downloaded onto iPads, iPhones or Android devices via the Bluefire Reader app.

You may check a book out for up to 7 days.

Check the Help/Feedback link within EBL for more information.

Creating Links for Course Sites

It is not possible to link directly to a specific chapter or page in an EBL e-book.

To create a link to a specific title, open the desired title, and e-mail the link.

To allow off-campus access, prepend the url with http://proxy.lib.utk.edu:90/login?url=. Your url should look like

http://proxy.lib.utk.edu:90/login?url=http://utk.eblib.com/patron/FullRecord.aspx?p=740104.
